[EN] We have been drinking this style of tea for over 15 years, in America, Asia, and Europe. We have been purchasing from Tealyra for over five years. We prepared the tea exactly according to the recommendations, weighing the amount of leaves, measuring the volume of the water, and adjusting the temperature to the exact specifications.
We found this tea to be nearly flavorless.
[EN] Reminds me a lot of Gyokuro Yamashiro. Very lovely tea with that buttery taste and very green leaves. Makes a beautiful white gold liquor.

[EN] Excellent tea, unique. Sweet and buttery, make sure to keep water below 80C otherwise it will turn bitter.
One of my favorites so far, a great way to introduce someone to good tea. Alot of flavour that is very easily likeable.
[EN] I saw other people recommended this tea, so I bought it. I love this tea after my first try. It’s better than some good LongJing imo. I will buy it again.
[EN] really delicious, nutty and vegetal taste, very smooth. Hard to over-brew as it's delicate tea, does not really stand up to re-brewing (its only downside) - perfect for gentle mornings, or a refreshing afternoon pot.

[EN] This non-organic version has more flavor than the other yellow, which is organic. I can't say i smell or taste anything flowery, just more buttery. It's delicious, esp when i add 1 drop of my english toffee extract. It enhances the buttery, nutty flavor.
[EN] Great yellow tea once I found the right amount of tea for me. Probably will buy again...Thanx tealyra!

[EN] This is unlike any other tea I have tried so far. I agree with the description: chestnut fragrance and sweet buttered corn taste. Delicious! Worth trying for sure!
[EN] This tea has a delicious buttery, slightly nutty flavor that blends well with a bit of amber sugar or honey. This yellow tea tastes almost identical to the same "mall tea" but at Tealyra's price I can easily enjoy this tea anytime! This is my first tea from Tealyra, and I'm definitely impressed!
[EN] This tea starts out light like a white tea and seemed to gain more flavor and body. Notes of butter & chestnuts and a bit of sweetness. Light and refreshing.
