[EN] We were trying to find an exact match for a Ren Shen my mom had from overseas and loved. This wasn't that, but I still like it very well. It's a bit greener than what we had before, and the "rocks" vary more in size with some being a fair bit larger.
The scent is pleasant and I've noticed that brewing this at different temps can get two distinctly different yet both good results, which is really cool! At lower temps it has a sort of freeze dried fruit scent and taste - apples, bananas, and pears. At higher temps it is like a warm spice cookie. You can pick the brewing process that best suits your mood, like two teas in one!

[EN] I never thought any oolong would be able to compete with the gaba oolong for my attention, but this one is exceptional. So delicious!

[EN] First good ginseng tea I've had. Built on a solid Oolong base, with a clear herbal Ginseng taste for the first 4 infusions, but the oolong flavor lasted for a total of 8 infusions.
[EN] I love this tea! Great aroma. It is bold with a gentle aftertaste. I can usually get 6-8 infusions from each teaspoon. Sometimes I add a couple hibiscus leaves for a special sweetness.

[EN] This tea has a very easy taste. I'm not treating the vanilla at all but that's okay, I really enjoy it nonetheless. Definitely helps with the afternoon tirednes that's felt from time to time. I always keep some on hand.
[EN] This tea is incredible.! The aroma is divine and it has a smooth, lightly sweet aftertaste. I drink various teas including genmaicha and Chocolate Pu-erh Chai (Tealyra), but this one is singular. This is my fourth time ordering this tea.

[EN] A very smooth and velvety cup that invigorates and refreshes the mind and body. I recommend this variety as an excellent choice for daily morning and afternoon tea!
[EN] Great tea as good as the variety I bought in China

[EN] This tea has turned into one of my daily go to teas. Very Nice.
[EN] Not bad but I prefer Tealyra's other Ginseng Oolong offering.
[EN] The other Ginseng oolong Tealyra offers is much much better.
[EN] I can't find a way to brew this tea to taste well and I tried. Gong fu is tasteless, western is kind of muddy and unpleasant.
[EN] Not sure what happened. I'd been buying this tea and it was probably the best tea I'd ever had. The last time I purchased it, it had almost no flavor and lacked the silkiness. It was completely underwhelming. I messaged Customer Support trying to figure out why there was such a sharp decline in quality, and never received a response. I'm debating trying it one more time because when it was good, it was divine!
