Description
Hong Yu White Tea – Luxury Large-Leaf Red Jade Taiwanese White TeaOur large-leaf Hong Yu White Tea is a Taiwanese craft tea made from the Hong Yu cultivar, whose name translates as "Red Jade" or "Ruby." Best known for producing Taiwan's famous Ruby black tea, this cultivar is crafted here into a rare and luxurious white tea. It's processed with minimal handling — from hand-picking, which allows the large, delicate leaves to remain intact, to drying. The leaves are handled as little as possible to ensure the freshest taste. White tea has the least oxidation of all teas, and this fine tea is 0% oxidized, allowing for a delicate, fresh taste.
