About tea makers

Our rapidTEA Maker 30oz holds about 30 oz (900 ml). Add leaves and hot water, steep, then set it on a cup or mug and the bottom valve releases the tea.

A super-fine filter keeps leaves out of your cup, and dispensing stops the steeping, so tea never over-steeps. Pick a tea from our loose leaf tea range, or browse more tea accessories.

Tea maker FAQ

How does a bottom-dispensing tea maker work?

A valve in the base stays closed while the tea steeps. When you set the maker on top of a cup or mug, the valve opens and the tea flows down. Lift it off and the flow stops.

How much tea should I use in the rapidTEA Maker?

Use about 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 250 ml of water, so 3 to 4 teaspoons for a full 30 oz (890 ml) batch. Use the right water temperature for your tea.

Which teas can I brew in it?

Any loose leaf tea, from black and green tea to herbal blends and rooibos. The fine filter holds back even small leaves.
