Description

Elevate your daily tea ritual with the Jove Porcelain Teapot, a beautifully balanced expression of Chinese craftsmanship, understated design, and everyday function.

With its substantial silhouette and smooth, modern finish, Jove feels both elegant and reassuringly practical. Crafted from high-quality porcelain, it offers a more refined alternative to conventional ceramic teaware. Porcelain is typically denser and less porous than many other ceramics, giving it a smooth finish while helping resist the absorption of flavours and aromas - an excellent quality for those who enjoy brewing a variety of teas.

Inside, a fine stainless-steel mesh infuser allows loose tea leaves to open fully and release their aroma, flavour, and character. Once your tea has reached the perfect strength, simply remove the infuser for a beautifully controlled brew.

The carefully shaped spout is designed for a smooth, graceful pour with minimal dripping, while the comfortable handle makes serving feel effortless. With a generous 900 ml / 30.5 fl oz capacity, Jove is ideal for preparing several cups at once - perfect for a quiet afternoon, an unhurried morning, or sharing tea with someone special.

Crafted for those who appreciate beauty in the details, Jove transforms a simple pot of tea into a more considered experience.

I have a yellow one which looks great on the worktop. Had it for about 6 yrs and absolutely love it. Pours well, easy to clean and hold.

This is the perfect teapot for a single person who likes to sip tea all afternoon. It is a solid teapot, with a wide spout that never dribbles. I LOVE it!

Such a smooth, comforting feel to the teapot. Thick and strong, good sized handle, easy to clean and use. I ordered a turquoise one but I'd say it's more of a light baby blue.

Love this teapot! Great capacity, smooth laminar flow, easy to clean, and the infuser extends to the very bottom of the pot so you can brew any quantity you want.

Also, I’ve had no problems with the lid staying open, when fully opened it’s kept upright with friction. Seems some of the issues observed by other reviewers have since been addressed. So far so good!

I love this teapot so much that I just ordered a second one so that there will be one for each of two homes. I drink at least one pot of tea per day and find this the easiest to use and most convenient one I have ever found. My grandmother started this habit with me as a wee lad and at 75 and counting I am afraid it is a practice that has set in. I discovered this wonderful teapot not quite that long ago, but after much experience I know what works best for me and this is the one. Wonderful design and it doesn't drip! Thanks.

Nice little teapot--flows fast and well, doesn't dribble but a bit heavy for a one handed pour. Partner is hard on tea pot lids so having an attached metal lid is a huge bonus. The strainer is very fine so nothing sneaks trough, yet water flows through it well. Overall, a lovely teapot. All that's missing is a pretty cozy to keep your tea warm.

Great teapot, but as some people have mentioned, the lid can be a bit finnicky to work with, specifically when pouring in your hot water. It wants to close itself due to the shape of the design, and requires gentle bending of the metal to get it to stay(and then bending it back so the lid rests flush with the opening...)

But I'm not a super fussy person, so I don't really find this preventing me from using it. If you are prone to spills/splashes/general hot water mishaps, then you should find a different teapot.

The tea pot is nice, the lid is garbage and needs adjustment ... I did adjust it correctly but that entailed taking it apart, bending and tempering the metal pieces which took about 45 mins ... it now works fantastic! And is a very solid tea pot now including the lid!

It’s pretty but not as nice as Tealyra’s ceramic one. The finish is more of a satin matte rather than fully shiny, and it has this terrible habit of dropping the lid down when I pour the hot water in, Hence I almost always end up pouring hot water on the closing lid, making a mess or burning myself. There’s something a bit wrong in its design, because I see That I am not the only person complaining about this. I definitely prefer the large ceramic one, which also has a shinier, prettier finish and a better designed lid.

I got the yellow Jove teapot.

Pros:
It's a cute, friendly shape and a perfect sunflower yellow. This teapot comfortably holds three large (~14oz) mugs worth of tea. The large infuser is made of sturdy metal sheeting, not mesh, so it can stand on its own when removed from the pot. The size is great for the expansion of looseleaf teas (particularly if you like a strong cup) and the fine pinholes keep all but the smallest particles contained. By itself, the teapot keeps tea warm for about two and a half hours and the handle is always cool enough to use.

Cons:
The lid on mine doesn't stay open- the current angle of the finger lever doesn't allow the lid to rest on it; I'll have to bend it a bit more. Also, if you open the lid while hot tea is inside (i.e.: to remove the infuser), condensation from the lid runs down the handle and side of the teapot. This effect might be reduced by using a tea cozy to keep the pot more uniformly warm; I'll try that next and update my review. The spout always has one leftover drip when I'm done pouring.

I deducted a star due to the annoyance of the dripping condensation and spout.

Returning. It's a very cute teapot and the strainer works great, but the spout is poorly designed and tea runs down the base from the spout every single time you pour from it. You have to wipe the front of the teapot every time you use it or just be fine with it leaving a ring wherever you set it.
