I absolutely love this tea. It is smooth and rich. It is one of my favorite Oolong teas. I only gave it 4 stars because it is not organic. I thought it was organic when I purchased it. It was after I received it that I realized it was my mistake. But it is an amazing tea. I have found Tealyra to be a great source for buying tea.
Not for me. The tea quality itself is nice, with beautiful unbroken tea leaves. But based on the description of honey and peach notes, I was expecting something similar to a typical heavily-oxidized oolong like Brandy Oolong, but the bug-bitten flavor is quite different. It's quite a specific flavor that eludes description, but I'd say it's almost "perfumey". Not like the fresh, juicy stone fruit flavor of an ordinary oxidized oolong or black tea. It's probably an acquired taste for some.
Just as described. I like the roasted oolongs but I'm not much of a black tea person. But drinking this feels like a really high quality black tea to me. I feel fancy drinking it! I've gotten multiple steeps out of it. And my sister who doesn't even like black tea always asks for a cup of this.
Very nice oolong tea. It has a robust flavor without being too bitter or bland. However, I did not really feel the hints of peach, which was disappointing. In spite of that, it's a nice blend to enjoy, especially during fall when you want something smooth and comforting.
