Tibetan Vitality Latte – Savory-Sweet Himalayan Spiced Tea Latte

Embark on a journey to the high Himalayas with our Tibetan Vitality Latte, a robust beverage designed to warm the spirit. Drawing inspiration from the resilience of mountain traditions, this unique blend combines robust black tea extract, creamy milk powder and natural brown sugar with a truly distinctive spice masala.

This is more than just a tea — it's a savory-sweet powerhouse. The familiar warmth of ginger, cardamom and clove is deepened by the aromatic complexity of bay leaf and fennel, plus a subtle hint of garlic. This unusual combination creates a rich, full-bodied flavor that's surprisingly grounding, balancing sweet, creamy and savory notes in perfect harmony.

Traditional Spice Ingredients

  • Savory depth: garlic and clove have long been used in traditional kitchens to add warmth and savory character.
  • Aromatic notes: bay leaf, fennel and cardamom are classic spices that add fragrant, herbal complexity.
  • Inner warmth: black pepper and ginger bring a gentle "fire" that adds a peppery kick — perfect for cold weather.

This is definitely not your average latte mix. The cardamom and fennel add a nice aromatic sweetness, but the bay leaf and garlic give it a depth I’ve never tasted in a tea before. I’ve tried it both hot and iced; hot is definitely the way to go for the full 'Himalayan' experience. It’s very filling and provides a nice, steady energy boost without a caffeine crash. Great for anyone looking to branch out from standard lattes.

I wasn't sure what to expect with 'garlic' and 'bay leaf' in a tea latte, but I was pleasantly surprised! It’s much more savory than your typical sweet chai. The black pepper and ginger give it a real kick that warms you up instantly. It feels more like a restorative broth than a dessert drink. Perfect for those *** mornings when you need something more 'grounding' than just sugar and milk

I brewed 3 different kinds of chai latte mix sequentially, and tried them with family.

We agreed that this had too many funky, savoury, and garlic notes. Fun idea but doesn't taste all that good.
