Cold brew tea FAQ
How long do these cold brew blends take to steep?
They are made for quick cold-steeping. Use about 1 to 2 teaspoons per 250 ml of cool water, around 21°C, and steep 15 to 20 minutes. Strain and pour over ice. Steep longer for a stronger flavour.
What is the difference between cold brew tea and iced tea?
Classic iced tea is brewed hot and then chilled. Cold brew tea is steeped in cool water from the start, which gives a smoother, softer flavour with less bitterness.
Can I steep cold brew blends in hot water?
Yes. You can brew them hot like any herbal tea for a warm fruity cup, or brew hot, let it cool and pour over ice. Cold-steeping gives the brightest, juiciest flavour.
How long does cold brewed tea keep in the fridge?
Keep it covered in the fridge and enjoy it within a day or two for the freshest flavour. Strain out the leaves first so the taste stays clean.
