Our rare Wild Tree White Ye Bai Cha is harvested from the untamed tea forests on the hillsides of the mountains, in China’s northeastern Fujian province. It is a remote area with mineral rich soil, and beautiful views of the distant sea from three sides of the mountain. The wild tea trees are left to grow freely; unlike tea gardens where they are regularly manicured and specially cared for, these trees are untouched by human hands for decades, the wild tea plants grow leaves with a robust character and silky-smooth finish. The nature of the wild tree lends the resulting tea a unique character. The dry leaf is highly aromatic, full of fresh florals and a clean nutty chestnut note. Once steeped, the clear yellow tea liquor is thick, it is fresh, with an aroma of squash and fallen leaves, with a stout, rich body. Enjoy our rare Wild Tree White Ye Bai Cha! For the best tea drinking experience, we recommend using a gaiwan and enjoying multiple infusions. |
