Our tea maker, the rapidTEA Maker 30oz, brews loose leaf tea and releases it straight into your cup when you set it on top. For matcha tools, see matcha accessories.
Just a vessel and a way to strain the leaves: a mug with an infuser, a teapot with a built-in strainer, or a separate infuser basket. A kettle and a teaspoon cover the rest.
Glass lets you watch the leaves unfurl and does not hold flavours, which suits green, white and blooming teas. Porcelain is also neutral and keeps tea warm a little longer. Thick ceramic holds heat best, which suits black tea and herbal blends.
Empty the leaves right after brewing and rinse the infuser in warm water. For tea stains, soak it in warm water with a spoonful of baking soda, then rinse.
