Wonderful. I've tried several of the Gyokuros here and, IMO, this is the best. Mildly sweet but savory and smooth. Along with the Sencha Satsuma, I drink five or six cups a day. I can (and do) drink it all day, although it's kind of my late morning/afternoon tea since it's got a bit more caffeine than some green teas (but not that much). I don't oversteep the tea but I do 'double dip' it. Steep for 2 minutes, pull it out and let it drain, and then dip it back in for 5-10 seconds. Creates a stronger flavor that is not oversteeped, IMO.

[FR] Fameux! Odeur de pêche et de chocolat quand on ouvre la sac. Goût intense! Un grand cru!
Surprisingly sweeter than many - if not all - other green tea I've tasted before. I recommend to leave the bag/leaves in the hot water for more than the recommended 2 minutes, or else you'll end up drinking diluted water
This is a good tea. I like the mellow taste, very refreshing.
If you enjoy green tea this tea has an amazing flavor. I enjoy iced tea and brew this tea at least every other day with a pitcher in the refrigerator. I know those of you who are tea experts may cringe but I enjoy this way of preparing my tea a lot.

My favorite green tea so far. Not at bitter like some green teas. Can maje three really great infusions per teaspoon.
Superb! Deep taste. Slightly sweet. Smooth. Richly vegetal.

I compared 3 similarly priced Gyokuro varieties: Gyokuro Ureshinocha, Gyokuro Premier, and Yame Gyokura Grade 1. I found the Gyokuro Premier and Yame Gyokuro Grade 1 to be indistinguishable from each other. Both of these varieties yielded tea with a richer and better flavor than Gyokuro Ureshinocha. In all case, I heated 8 oz of water to 130F and steeped with 1 tsp of tea leaves for 1 minute.

J'adore ce thé. Très doux et à la fois goûteux. Un beau vert de qualité. Il fait parti de mes thés verts préféré.
I'm quite taken with its delicate grassy fragrance the pretty colour of the infusion. I now have several teas in my collection, but it's the one I reach for the most.
